The Northern Beaches Hospital hosted a Spinning Babies Workshop this week and I was
lucky to be surrounded by Midwives, Obstetricians, Doulas and other healthcare practitioners that are all passionate about Women's healthcare and pregnancy! This workshop was to provide us with some techniques to help with optimal positioning and to also help with some discomfort management during pregnancy and labour. I can’t wait to share what I have learnt with my patients!
It was such a positive environment and really empowering to be amongst different types of healthcare practitioners with the same goal- healthy mum and bub! I highly recommend other practitioners that love pregnancy care as much as I do to look out for future workshops and also for expecting parents to consider going to a parent class so that they can try and manage some discomfort at home together and consolidate the bond that you will already have through the journey or birth!
